Your Guide to Action: the Visual To-Do List

A long To-Do list can be daunting.

Out of sight often means out of mind.

So a visual To-Do list may be the perfect solution, as a reminder.

I was inspired to write today’s post after a recent visit to my friend Sarah Wu’s graphic and floral design studio.

As seen in the accompanying photo, Sarah applied her creativity to her handwritten list by using colourful checkmarks for completed tasks; with additional notes for next actions. The list itself is pinned to a bulletin board to keep it front and centre.

While the daily goal is to get things done, there’s no reason that a To-Do list can’t be aesthetically pleasing.

Be creative and make your list visual, if it helps to motivate you.
